The overall goal of the organization is to encourage people of Uganda to plant trees, to stabilize young ones in the society, and to fight against unfair service in the forestry sector of Uganda.

Promotion of environment protection and agriculture support in Uganda

Implementation of energy conservation practices through use of modern energy saving stoves technologies

Mobilizing communities to sustainably use and manage land, wetlands, forests combat desertification and reverse land degradation and halt bio diversity loss

Scale up research and development innovations geared towards restoring vital ecosystems

Advocating and lobbying for alternative strategies and incentives geared towards supporting communities for responsible forest management and environmental stewardship

About US

The Forestry Labourerers Network Association is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2020 and registered by the Uganda Registration Services Bureau on January 6th, 2021 under registration number 80020002854876. Our headquarters are located in Jinja City, Namulesa, Northern division, and our areas of operation are Buyende, Kamuli, Jinja, Iganga, Luuka, Kaliro, and Mayuge. We are dedicated to promoting and supporting sustainable forestry practices in Uganda. Our work includes: Planting trees and restoring forests Encouraging local communities to conserve the environment Establishing tree nursery beds Advocating for policies and practices that support sustainable forestry
