The Forestry Conservation Association (FCA) is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2020 and registered by the Uganda Registration Services Bureau on January 6th, 2021 under registration number 80020002854876. Our headquarters is located in Jinja City, Namulesa, Northern division, and our areas of operation are Buyende, Kamuli, Jinja, Iganga, Luuka, Kaliro, and Mayuge. We are dedicated to promoting and supporting sustainable forestry practices in Uganda. Our work includes: Planting trees and restoring forests Encouraging local communities to conserve the environment Establishing tree nursery beds Advocating for policies and practices that support sustainable forestry
We believe that forests are essential for the health of our planet and people. They provide clean air and water, protect biodiversity, and support sustainable livelihoods.
